Annual Meeting 2026
We warmly invite everyone interested in landscapes and earth surface processes. Our aim is to bring together researchers, students, and practitioners to foster exchange, collaboration, and new connections.
The meeting schedule is designed to encourage open discussions, fresh perspectives, and informal exchange. Because the best ideas emerge when we step outside our everyday routines.

Thursday 15.10.:
- Welcome and Icebreaker at 12:00
- ECS-Workshop with Floreana Miesen (University of Lausanne) on Fieldwork Safety Planning
- Community Dinner
- Crowd-Solving Poster Session
Friday 16.10.:
- Breakfast
- Annual general meeting and election of speaker team
- Excursion to Simonyhütte with Klaus Reingruber (ÖAV Glacier Monitoring Dachstein) & Anna Siebenbrunner (GeoResearch)
- Departure after Excursion around 16:00
- Optional Community Evening
Saturday 17.10.:
- Community-Hike to Hoher Gjaidstein
- Departure in the afternoon
